situated in the heart of the Solent, the chosen training ground of the RNLI
and a whole host of other schools. We offer a range of courses to suit
either individuals or corporate teams. We can also arrange accommodation
for you.

training and if you compare our prices to other mainland schools we are
still competitive (we don't add a fuel surcharge or v.a.t. charges) even when
you consider the cost of accommodation and ferry fare, getting to the
Island is easy from all parts of the UK. Also the Island is a great place
to visit and will make your course seem like a holiday as well.
We are a specialist RYA Motorcruising, Powerboat and PWC Training Centre and a RLSS UK Inshore Rescue Boat and Rescue PWC Training Centre.
We are the first Commercial School in the UK that can offer Powerboat Instructor Courses in all of these disciplines .
We hope that after looking through our website you decide to come and join us for your Powerboat Training. We are lucky to have excellent weather on the Island and are served well by ferries and have great accommodation in the towns of Cowes and East Cowes.
The night life of Cowes is full of excellent places to have a beer (not too many though) and great places to eat .The Solent is one of the busiest stretches of water in the United Kingdom and we have such a diverse amount of Ports , Harbours and Creeks that we can visit on our courses.
We also offer RYA VHF DSC, First Aid at Sea, Sea Survival, Diesel Engine Maintenance, Radar and Navigation Courses from Day skipper up to the Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Level. RLSS UK Beach Lifeguard , Inshore Rescue Boat, Rescue Water Craft, Malibu Board , Paddlecraft, First Aid, AED and O2, Survive and Save and Rookie Lifeguard Courses.

OUR BOATS
We have Princess V 40 Motor Cruiser Solent rib 6.9 metres with a 200 HP Evinrude
and a Bombardier GTX LTD PWC, GPS/Plotter VHF (DSC) and all the very best in safety
equipment.
As agents for Solent Ribs we have access to the whole Solent Rib range
5.4 metres 6 metres 6.5 metres 6.9 metre and 7.5 metres and can arrange a
demo for you, all the ribs can be supplied with an engine of your
choice.
We have vast experience in the marine industry, from working and
teaching on a variety of craft. When we decided to start our own school
after working for the good and not so good on a freelance basis we
decided we needed a rib that offered a deep vee hull, giving a
comfortable ride in a variety of sea conditions, it had to be fast and
large enough to seat all students in comfort, and be stable at rest, it
also needed to be of the highest quality build and fit out. After a lot
of research on the boat we would require it came down to a Solent rib,
they met every one of our criteria and offer a fantastic after sales
service. If you decide to purchase one of these very seaworthy craft
after completing your tuition let us know and we will endeavour to get
the best deal for you as we act as agents for the company and are
approved by them to run courses using their boats. We can also give you
advice on where to get the best deals around for equipment and clothing.
All foul weather gear and lifejackets are provided by us, you will need
to purchase your log book (G20/04) and it is recommended you buy the
practical course notes (PBPCN) and G16/97 For the safety boat course
these can be purchased from us or any good chandlery. |
