Great for blowing away the winter cobwebs, any aspect can be covered from Navigation, to boat handling, you decide the course content.

What better way of learning than on your own boat, and the cost of the tuition can be divided by three of you, as you are only paying for the instructor, the syllabus is exactly the same as RYA Powerboat Level 2, Intermediate or the Advanced syllabus. (minimum safety equipment required, The vessel is insured by the owner for loss damage and legal liability to third parties, The owner remains the skipper and legally responsible for the safe management of the vessel at all times even when under instruction). Own boat tuition can be taken anywhere in * Hampshire* , *Southampton* , *Hamble* , *Portsmouth *, *Poole* ,* Lymington* and *Isle of Wight*. For overseas training the cost of flights, accommodation and transfers will be added.

A very intensive course with personal coaching for the above levels. This is a popular option for some, as you have the instructors undivided attention, and can really cover a lot of ground over the two days, some schools will put you on a waiting list until they have enough students to fill a course, this can be very frustrating for you the student, our aim is to get people out on the water enjoying this great pastime of ours thatís why we run courses seven days a week throughout the year.

An ideal course for those of you who want to refine certain aspects of your boat handling either on your boat or ours we can cover any subject chosen by you.

This is one of our most popular courses, held over 5 hours (approx) three hours of theory on Rules of the Road, Lights, Navigation , Passage Planning and Chart Work, then the practical out in the Solent using our passage plan to a destination decided by the instructor great fun and fast. The hours logged can go towards your Day Skipper or higher exams.
